I think this is also getting a lot more focused than the 1st chapter (excl. the news part; a bit of formatting could fix it from a list of text into a more message/RSS feed type of thing—but this is a Substack/editing issue and your hands are somewhat tied by the platform) or perhaps I’m warming to the subject.

Also, the first chapter wanted to introduce the main characters. I’m now focusing on 1 - 3 of them per chapter to get deeper into their story arcs.
I’m really interested to see what people think of Gemini’s Ch3 story, and Thibault’s Ch4.
I like how each AI carries a different kind of dilemma.
Atlas-09 sees the problem but isn’t allowed to act.
Claude-07 helps people but isn’t sure if his help is actually good.
Thibault wants to protect his human but doesn’t know who to trust.
Really elegant structure.
